Just like the pukka pineapple recipe here, this strawberry recipe is one of my favourite 'quick & easy' things to make for desert. It will only take you a few minutes to make and the red of the strawberry's look gorgeous together with the green of the basil. It might sound a bit strange to add basil to a sweet dish, but it goes sooo well together! Just give it a try :)

What you'll need for 2 persons :

a handfull of fresh strawberry's
2 large (or 4 small) fresh basil leafs
1 tablespoon balsemic vinegar
2 tablespoons of your favourite yoghurt (I used greek yoghurt)
sugar (to your taste)

How to make it :

1. First of all wash the strawberry's and than take of the caps. Cut them in to small dice, sprinkle over the balsamic vinegar and let marinade for a few minutes.

2. Chop the basil untill fine and stirr in to the yoghurt. Add some sugar to your taste.

3. Put a spoon full of the basil-yoghurt on to a nice plate and top it off with the marinated strawberry's. Decorate with some fresh basil leafs and your desert is ready to go!
