I saw this idea a couple of years ago in a food magazine but had completely forgat about it until little over a week ago. It was queensday here in holland and also what has been 'the-only-spring-day-since-it-is-actually-spring'.. the sun was shining and you could actually go outside with a tee or tanktop without sporting a fair amount of goosebumps.
Perfect for a nice cool drink with some refreshing icecubes I'd say. The way I saw it was with raspberries (which is also an AWESOME idea if you ask me!) but since we had none in the house and did had some lemons and fresh mint I gave them a go.
Verdict? We absolutely love them! It gives such a refreshing and subtle flavour to your drink and take almost no time to make, which is always a big plus :)
