BRUGES PT.2 // IF YOU LIKE IT THEN YOU SHOULD'VE...

After some waiting, here's the second part of our Bruges anniversary trip (part one here). We stayed at the Jacquemine Guesthouse and it was our best stay ever! The minute you step foot behind the front door you're surrounded with kindness, warmth and the smell of fresh baked bread. There are only 2 rooms, but don't be fooled, they are very roomy, luxurious and just the kind of room you love to come back to at the end of a long day of shopping/eating/walking/and some more walking ;) and don't even get me started on the breakfast, ooohhh the breakfast... we had homemade flapjacks, fresh strawberries with homemade yoghurt, still warm from the oven bread and Belgium chocolates. YES. that was an amazing breakfast!

Also to finish the blogtitel 'If you like it then you should've... put a ring on it' and he did! Ahhhh!! See the last photo where we're still teary eyed (me) and rushing with adrenaline (him) as it just happened :) The first night of our stay, after a long after dinner walk, Pieter got down on one knee and proposed to me. We are engaged! Still very surreal to say, but I'm on cloud nine and intent on staying there for a while.

LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE,
DAPHNE
