1 DOUGH, 3 COOKIES // CHOCOLATE & MARSHMALLOW

This is the second variation for my 1 dough 3 cookies experiment (see the first one here!) and maybe this was my favourite one out of the three, although it is verrrry hard to choose a favourite from 3 almost equally delicious cookies!

How to use 1 dough for 3 different types of cookies :

  1. Make the dough according to the recipe right here without adding chocolate chips.
  2. Divide the dough in to 3 equal parts and put them all in to seperate bowls. Now take one part for the next steps.
  3. Add 2 heaped tablespoons of chocolate spread, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 tablespoon of sugar to the dough. Mix it again until it becomes a nice rich dark chocolatey' color :)
  4. Now take about a handful of mini-marshmallows (or chopped up regular ones) and stir them in to your dough.
  5. Drop little 'balls' on to a baking-sheet and bake them for about 8 to 10 minutes in a 180c preheated oven.

There is still one recipe left so keep checking out the blog for one more!

1 DOUGH, 3 COOKIES // PEANUTBUTTER DARK CHOCOLATE

Just like many, many.. MANY afternoons of me baking, this one also started with my go-to cookie recipe from Martha Stewart (here). And even though I really love a huge batch of chocolate chip cookies, sometimes I feel like changing things up a bit so here's what I did :

How to use 1 dough for 3 different types of cookies :

  1. Make the dough according to the recipe right here without adding chocolate chips.
  2. Divide the dough in to 3 equal parts and put them all in to seperate bowls. Now take one part for the next steps.
  3. For these creamy, rich and nutty peanutbutter dark chocolate cookies I added 2 tablespoons of crunchy peanutbutter and 120 grams of roughly chopped dark chocolate.
  4. Stir these little treats in to your dough, drop little 'balls' on to a baking-sheet and bake them for about 8 to 10 minutes in a 180c preheated oven.

This is just the first out of three variations to change up your cookie making routine without having to make a different dough every time, or having to buy loads of ingredients! Keep an eye on this blog, I'll be posting the other 2 recipes later this week :)

THE GOLDEN HOUR

coat - French Connection (also seen here & here) // checked scarf & knit - Zara // glasses - Brillen24 // biker boots - Graceland

This last friday we had no plans of taking pictures and were actually on our way to the shops (in a bit of a hurry since they were only open for about 20 minutes, ..we are some serious shopping-procrastinators ;) but as we looked outside just before heading out I couldn't help but notice the gorgeous lighting (golden hour ref.) and had to squeeze in some quick snaps on the way!

It's times like these I love photography even more than I already do, no editing needed for these pics! Ow yes, and say hi to our car having a guest performance here on the blog hihi ;)

HAVE A LOVELY DAY SWEETIES!

WHAT TO WEAR THIS SUMMER!

SUMMER SET
  1. Floral headband, Asos
  2. Arrow head charm pendant necklace, Asos
  3. Spike ring, Asos
  4. Skater dress with scoop back, Topshop
  5. Polka dot dress, Topshop
  6. Lace trim polka dot socks, Topshop
  7. Cloud notebook, Topshop
  8. Coral leather platform sandals, Topshop

So since it's not exactly short dresses and bare legs kinda weather over here, I'm seeking my sun-cravings elsewhere, in doing some online 'window' shopping.. (yes, just looking!) I'd wear these items all day / every day if the temperature would let me, but for now I'm typing this with tights, bikerboots, a dress AND a knitted sweater on so let's dream about the warm festival days that are going to be here eventually! ;)

HAPPY SATURDAY SWEETIES!

SIMPLE & DELICIOUS // AVOCADO LUNCH

Nothing fancy or difficult to make this time and even more important, it doesn't take you long! Ha!

What you need :
  • a slice of your favourite type of bread (I used multigrain)
  • whatever young cheese you'ld like, for example Gouda.
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and sliced.
  • about a handful of cherry tomatoes, halved.
  • some lemon juice or a fresh lemon to drizzle over
  • salt & pepper

The only thing now you have to do is layer everything on top of your bread. Starting with the cheese then avocado, tomatoes and season with your lemon juice, salt & pepper and that's it! You're ready for a healthy but super tasty lunch and let me tell you, it is GOOOOD!!!

CRUSHING // SALTWATER SANDALS

pics via here, here and tumblr.

Okay, so I have been crushing over these Saltwater sandals for the last couple of days.. crushing hard! I spotted them a bit around the internet and saw them on Alexa Chung, but seeing them on one of my favourite bloggers Love Taza definitely got me sold.

What do you think? Just for kids, or grown girls can rock them too? :)

IT'S LIKE THAT, AND THAT'S THE WAY IT IS

 navy coat & white skirt/short - Zara // RUN-DMC sweatshirt - Urban Outfitters // sneakers - Converse // watch - Michael Kors

How crazy cool is this sweatshirt?! I've been eyeballing this RUN-DMC shirt for quite some time but never seemed to find one that was either in my size, or that someone wasn't selling for a redic-sh*t  price ;) So when I saw Sabrina from AfterDRK was selling hers there was no question about it, it was destined to be mine and I couldn't be happier about it!

Already Thursday, tomorrow's my day off so let's think about what-to-do.... (except from the usual household chores ofcourse, gotta keep things fun in a day!) What do you usually do when you have a day off? Maybe I have to try out some of your ideas :)
